Mission Statement: It is the mission of USPF
California and the United States Powerlifting Federation (USPF)
to provide powerlifting competition of uniform high quality
which is available to all athletes who meet the criteria for
membership throughout the United States.
2010 USPF California "Golden Opportunity"
USPF California is pleased to announce a Golden opportunity for the California USPF membership base. This Golden opportunity is geared toward ensuring the California USPF members participating in the 2010 WPF World Championships are provided with financial assistance to assist in their travel to Bath, England.
In recognizing that financial times are difficult, USPF California has devised a plan to support, enhance, strengthen, and ensure Golden representation during the 2010 WPF Championships in Bath, England. To accomplish this goal, we have placed the donation button located below. In addition we will place a donation box on all lifter registration forms during the 2010 Powerlifting season. 2009 USPF Lifter of the Year
Award
USPF California is pleased to announce the winners of the 2009 USPF California Lifter of the Year Award. Awards were were presented for the categories of Junior, Open, and Masters,
(men and women) for a total of 6 first place, 6 second
place, and 6 third place awards. Results applied to USPF Division
1 meets only.
In addition, USPF California would like to thank Team Alan and Bonnie Aerts for implementing the USPF Lifter of the Year program, and for their efforts in ensuring that the lifter point totals were updated monthly. Due to the statewide success of this program, the USPF has adopted the Lifter of the Year program as a National competition!!
The First place winners will share in thousands of dollars in prizes. Each first place winner will receive a large engraved trophy, $50 dinner gift certificate, all base entry fees ( meet entry fee for one division, does not include cross over’s or additional fees for t-shirts, etc.) waived for every USPF meet held in 2011 they want to enter, they will have their photo posted on the USPF web site for the following year, and have their photo run in an issue of Powerlifting USA along with an article with all first place winners.
This new USPF program has been designed to not only create more competition for our lifters, but to do it in a fun way that every lifter can enjoy. Click here to learn more...
